Nearly New Year

Well, there's myself, Anne White and Natalie Pompey who are buzzing with ideas that we can't even bounce off each other until we've rung in the New Year...Natalie however got us the Think Pink parker pen for Christmas - they are just great.......

Movembers Date Set....

MOVEMBERS date has now been set for Saturday 29th November at the Hotel with the theme of 80's night - it's going to be a great party (but Think Pink is still the hot ticket to have....)

Big chats to both Anne & Natalie this week shows that we have not one but 2 functions in our midst...We can't be sexist, so roll on Movember for a prostate cancer fundraiser too.......

Those Good 'Ol Putaruru Blue Springs...

Natalie is busy trying to get sponsorship from Coca Cola to sponsor the water for the Think Pink Party, she is most dismayed that some products advertised in the current PINK magazine is only available next Ocober, as she had plans to put them onto her Santa list....You know - good ol Putaruru provides over 60% of New Zealands bottled water....We were actually over at the Blue Springs yesterday looking at Linda's memorial, and as usual ideas for think pink keep on flooding into our heads - we're sooooo trying to get Christmas out of the way - but there's too many plans that we want to get sorted..But as usual, it's all good.

It's At The Plaza....

Well, it's been decided, the 2008 Think Pink partay will be held at the Plaza. It will be absolutely perfect for what we have planned and the excitement is in the air - the ball was fantastic-but this has to be even better as we're raising money for such a well meaning cause. Big Meet....

Well the first meeting will go ahead this morning for our venue....Amazingly, to those who live outside of Putaruru - we have 3 buildings in the running - The Hotel ( our fave ), the Plaza -which can hold up to 500 people, and upstairs in the RSA Club - which is georgeous too. So for today, it's a case of seeing the buildings transofmed in our heads....Anne is making morning tea which will be divine as always - maybe this is the only reason we organise these things - for the wine filled nights and Annes baking - lol.........

Big Meeting Before Christmas

Well the date is set for the big meeting before Christmas - we'll meet up to look around the Plaza first, then make our decision and just plough through the work that needs doing before Christmas / New Year. We'll probably get one meeting in through the holidays - now should we make it in the day with all of the kids in tow or at night with a bottle of wine in tow......ummmm....

So the final boxes are being packed away from the Christmas ball, and as the three of us are sat there, having a quiet rest, the night BEFORE the ball, we all found ourselves wilth our entire attention on THINK PINK......this soo has to better the ball, but in a different way, and we have high expectations of raising good money too. Trade Me, websites you name it and we're scouring the pages to find the EXACT look that we want. Thank God I suit pink...but now, how not to look like an old sow in my next outfit..lol
