Guess who's 40?????

A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Anne White who turned 40 today.............

Our slogan is finally decided......

Well our {STRICT} 2 hour no longer meeting today ended up going to 2 1/2 hours because we ended up mentioning Movember music just as we were leaving Annes house - for everyone who knows Anne White, you can imagine her morning teas - you can't have 6 kids and be a crap cook - lol..... So we ended up on an entire trip back to the 80's until we really had to leave. But finally, of the three slogans we were looking at, we have chosen one that will work fantastically with our campaign AND with what we have planned for the night. So our slogan Think Pink for is :

no exceptions !

and the exclamation mark at the end will be the pink breast cancer ribbon. Anne is busy with the tee-shirt designs and Tirau sponsorship, Nat has the job of sorting out the waitresses outfits for both events and sponsorship, and the celeb letters, artists and sponsorship is on Ol' Annie here - we're having our own ball sorting it all out and considering the fantastic response to the Putaruru Christmas Ball in December, we have to knock each function up more than a level - but we're up to the challenge.....

Invitations are finally out.....

Well, the invitations are out to try to PRESUADE our hopeful MC's from the lure of fame, bright lights & big city to lil' ol Putaruru for the night of the 18th. 30 hours of work went into the bloody invite, so we all hope that it works....Keep everything crossed. Sponsorship is coming flying in at the moment, so let's hope that it stays that way too. Hamilton has it's bejewelled ball in early May, so it will be interesting to see how much is raised, mmmm - can we beat it? How cool would that be? Awesome artwork is being pledged for our auction, but the question of will we be getting a cast of Nicky Watsons best assets has come up on numerous occasions - maybe we should try to get that one for Movember.....

Easy Post...

This will probably be the easiest post for me to do today..Think Pink & Movember blog entries for once will both be the same. This week, both events were advertised in the prattler via the newspapers, so it makes us get organised....Problem is we're such control freaks - ha ha. At the moment, we're just getting everything in place to be able to concentrate on the sponsorships. For Think Pink, we have a few things up our sleeve for the night, whereas Movember will rely on the whole month ahead and everyone growing their MO's - Annie has come up with a hillarious idea for Movember which should bring in serious money, so you'll have to just buy a ticket and be there on the night.

SPONSORSHIP

If you're interested in sponsoring any part of either night, this is what we're looking for:
Financial sponsorship - to cover food, non alcoholic drinks (Think Pink), band, hireage etc, to enable us to send as much money as possible off to the charities. It can be from $1 to $1 million honestly - every bit counts..

Artists - We're hosting an auction of art works at Think Pink. These will be vastly advertised beforehand, and we shall host the auction on the night. So if you're an artist and wanting to make a 1 off piece in aid of the Waikato Breast Cancer Trust - get in contact with any of us (our numbers are below).

Raffle Prizes - and yes we're being cheeky here because we're looking for anything at all that can be raffled of in advance of BOTH events. You know - if you have a bach or holiday home - and you're willing to offer it out for a weekend,etc... There will be a HUGE push for this locally AND outside the area too.
